Current Affairs Science / Learning Features
Reading Literacy: Each Reading Check is designed based on the PISA / PIRLS framework with three tiers of question types: "Retrieve Information โ Integrate and Interpret โ Reflect and Evaluate." It does not merely test memory, but further trains inference and judgment.
Science & Critical Thinking: Starting with everyday "whys," each article guides students to express their views, articulate their reasoning, and develop habits of independent thinking through paragraph discussions and the exchange of perspectives.
Logic + Academic Writing: Featuring a spiral curriculum design with 12 writing skills across 4 roundsโranging from summarizing main ideas and establishing cause-and-effect links to persuasive arguments and mini-essays. Each unit focuses on one skill combined with the lesson's grammar, systematically building structured written expression skills step by step.
Current Affairs Issues: Starting from real news events such as food safety, the environment, and technology, students are guided to distinguish facts from opinions, analyze the causes and impacts of events, practice expressing stances and reasons in English, and cultivate civic literacy characterized by caring for the world and making rational judgments.
Learning Assessment: A comprehensive end-of-term assessment is conducted upon the completion of every 12-lesson cycle, covering reading comprehension, grammar application, and writing performance. It evaluates progress against the proficiency level at the beginning of the term and provides a learning feedback report, allowing students and parents to clearly understand the results and focus areas for the next stage of learning.
